Does the cable kit have a grommet for the firewall? The size of the plastic on the latch end of the cable will dictate the hole size....

7:57 right under the ballast resistor.

Where the cable goes through the firewall is the question....

It almost looks like the retainer strap should go between the two plastic humps on the cable.....

You have too much of a bend in a rod or for some other reason you are only getting partial travel in the lock rod. It could even be a dirty or worn latch assembly. Seems like there is a little clock spring to help get the door locks over center and back. Try a good latch cleaning and lubrication.

I have 2003 Cavalier seats in my 68. A minor alteration to one of the seat brackets and a couple of new holes in the reinforcement plates.

Some of us collected them over the years. Junk yards, transmission shops. You can also get in line transducers / ratio adapters to change the ratio that way if you know how much you need.

RE: TIRE QUESTION your mailbox is full! I did move springs even with the frame rails on the Duster. Depending on what tire size you want to run it may not be needed. On my Dart Sport the 275-60-15s will fit with the stock spring location. The wheels for that needs to be the 15 x 7 Magnum 500...

Yep two different ways to do the same thing..... Notice the difference in the upper pivot shaft bushing and bracket as well...

I saw somebody make one on here in a thread.... Seems like they cut it out of 1" thick foam rubber and possibly sealed the inside pores with silicone....
