    tires and wheels

There is a thread with fender mods for clearance. The Plymouth openings are different than the Darts. The answer to the last question is YES! Look to see if any of the studs have an L on them or if the nuts have lines across the top indicating they are LH thread usually on the passenger side I...

    Bolt measuremets

I think you are asking for the bolt pattern of the wheels which should be 5 on a 4" circle unless somebody has changed out suspension parts. If it is 5 on 4 the lugs will be 7/16" diameter instead of 1/2". The actual lug not the nut. So that means if it is still original the radius from the...

    Steel wheel back space

If you don't already have the slicks then I would explore 16 and 17 inch rims....... more likely to get that backspacing. Maybe even from a factory alloy wheel.

    Dart wheel clearance issue

Too much backspace. 14 x 4.5 will probably fit. It is possible this was a 13" rim car originally? No cotter pin in upper ball joint?

Wheel/tire combo for '73 Dodge Dart sport

Rear rims are 15 x 8 with 4.5 backspace and a 5/16 spacer 275/60/15. Fronts are 225/70/14. I did trim the lips a little on the rear wheel wells. Stock springs no lift aids.

275/60/15 on Dart Sport It Fits

I know this is not news to many of you but I see the question asked often enough. 275-60-15s on 8 inch wide rallye rims with 4.5" backspace using 5/15 spacers to keep the tires off the springs and inner wall of the wheel well. Here are some views to give you a better idea. A factory 8.25 rear axle.

    tire question

Depending on your ride height and wheel offset it may rub in the turn. A friend tried 215/70/15 on his 74 Gold Duster and had to crank up the torsion bars more than he liked. 205s worked ok..... So right at 26 but not much over.

    73 duster 275/60/15????

The backspace on the 15x7 Magnum 500 or Rallye lets them fit nicely with stock spring location.

Anyone running 15x10 rears on their Duster/dart sport?

Enough room for 15x10 on a Demon?

I took some 15x10 white spokes, cut and moved the centers to 6" back space and it works ok but then I have SS springs. Running 29.5 x 10.5 M&Hs so I had to make a few other minor mods but with street tires I can see it working out for you. I'm running a 68 B body 8.75 rear. The street tires are...

    16" DONUT-Space saver rims for 5-4.5 ?

I am wondering what vehicles of any make would possibly use the 16" rim with 5 on 4.5 or 114.3 mm pattern for the space saver spare. I am needing a couple for a tractor project.

    wider steel wheels

Widened a pair of the chrome center 15" Chrysler wheels to 9" once using the back half of cop car rims. Any machine shop can do it but some won't out of liability concerns. They will either re use your center or splice two rims.

Tell me about 30 inch tires for dart?

I was going to say space your springs back a bit for clearance on the front. I ended up modifying the openings on my Duster just to clear the 29.5-10.5-15s slicks.

    tire size? (1975 dart swinger)

I don't know if the tubs are any different than the Dart Sport but the 15x8 with a 275/60 hits the spring and I bet the 15x7 would work. A 5/16 to 3/8 spacer would just about do it for the 15x8 but it is tight.
