After it is warm and acting up, try starting it and manually closing the choke to see if it makes a difference. If it does, rev the way up then close the choke all the way until it dies. Sometimes that will suck junk out of the idle circuit. You can also try pulling the idle enrichment screws...

I have had luck splitting a fuel line and putting it over the metal part of the fuel line to insulate it. We have lots of vapor lock issues at this altitude and (after everything else is set right) this always does the trick.

Anyone have one laying around or know where I can look for one? I can't find one anywhere on the Interweb, and the only one I have is all wadded up and useless... I didn't put this in the wanted section because it is such a small deal. If I have err'd, let me know and I will move the post...
