MP 360 overheats no matter what i do

me guessing your timming marks are off or you have a issue with the timeing lite.. I sometimes time my motors by holding at about 3000rpm and advancing the dist until it starts surgeing then back it off a little bit. you would be surprised how close that gets you to proper numbers.

Do all A bodies have overheating problems?

Even at idle you should be able to suck a rag to the front of the radiator if it doesn't you need to figure out what it will take to draw more air thru it. If your top hose was 221 and bottom was 220 you are not cooing the water at all.

Good stuff other than the fact that I would remove the heater hoses and flush that separate just so you dont force all hat rust and scale into the heater core.

340 Water Pump questions, anyone using Flow Kooler?

the flow-kooler is just a 6 blade with a disc on it to improve flow. You can do the same to your new pump. A way to maximize the standard pump is to press the "impeller" on further untill its just 0.005to0.010" from the pump housing. Be careful not to press the pulley mount on further as this...
