Just for reference here are the Mr.Gasket covers I was talking about.They appear to be the quilty as mopar performance covers.Maybe even produced by them for mr.gasket as they look almost identical up close.

I think they are the cheap version of the hooker headers.I have hookers on my dart.If so they will fit an a body,well as good as headers fit a bodies.

Agreed,thats a 72 car year engine.my cuda is a 72 built 11-71 so it has the forged crank and J heads but by the looks of that code its a late 72 with a cast crank.72 340's were blue and that thing has been orange a looong time so the vin will be interesting.

He said it was in a 73 motor,doesn't mean it is factory which he should have just said a steel crank.looks like it has been balanced before also.I can't see the seam very well but it appears to be wide so it could be forged.

Yeah the $50ish ones from rockauto have less factory bends.I got the $70 ones made by sherman are stamped and they are pretty close but not a complete match to my car.they seemed to be deeper than the original pans and was higher at thedoor side about 1/4 -3/8.can't tell now but everything else...

depending on how factory you want them to be.Rockauto has some decent ones and some cheaper ones with less factory bends while auto metal direct=AMD has some that are spot on but they come with a higher price. BTW you posted this in the for sale forum not the parts wanted forum.
