Fuel line routing through front fender well

Rmcharger you do nice work, but I just don’t know if I like that chosen path.

    Fuel Cell Size?

No foam. I will not use foam, I’ve read it kinda deteriorates and I’m just not willing to put up with something like that, if it happens. I use pump gas 91, highest available in the state of CA, and I just don’t feel like it’s the same fuel from even just a few years ago. It really has an odd...

    Fuel Cell Size?

Yes. 20 gallon. Thank you. I’d go 30 next time. Then maybe I can make it a 100 miles.
  8. mopardude318

    Fuel Cell Size?

I wouldn’t go less than 20. Don’t have a picture of it finished but this was as I was figuring stuff out.

Fuel Regulator before or after the Carburetor

Following Aeromotive’s recommendations, and Rob ‘Crackedback’, I put the regulator after the carb in both my truck and the Dart. Seems to work pretty good.

Plastic And So-Called Phenolic Carb Spacers

I have for a couple years now use a 1” thick laminated wood open spacer on everything thing I can. I used one on my stock stroke 360 with an Air Gap manifold. Here’s a picture of one on a supercharged 408. I’m turning this blower a little too fast because it’s too small for a 408, so I’m...

What Fuel setup are you running

I have an Aeromotive stealth 340 Lph in tank pump. It is very quiet! I am impressed with it. With a carb bypass regulator and return style fuel system, everything works real nicely.

    Stupid question about braided hose...

I used Aeroquip push lock on my ‘74 truck. From the in tank pump to the engine, all -8AN. Their socket less hose is very good.
  13. mopardude318

    Fuel Line Choice and size

Negative. I haven’t had any issues using pushlok. I use Aeroquip brand hose and fittings. It can be very difficult to assemble. I boil the end of the hose in hot water, lube the barbed fitting end, then spray the inside of the hose with silicone spray and then assemble. I gotta push them...

    Fuel Line Choice and size

Here’s another example of how I did my W200. Aeromotive in tank pump with 1/2” feed & return lines. Carburetor bypass regulator. I’m not real sure how I feel about how it turned out, but this is kind of a down and dirty way of running all this **** on my inner fender.

    Fuel Line Choice and size

I’m not sure what exact one it is. I bought it at a swap meet 10 years ago. It’s a chrome 60 amp externally regulated alternator. I would prefer a polished case over the chrome. This is the closest one that would compare to it. CHRYSLER Summit Racing SUM-812117 Summit Racing™ Alternators |...

    Fuel Line Choice and size

Yea, that’s a huge pump, overkill. Lol. -8 or 10 with that. Carb bypass regulator. I have an Aeromotive stealth 340lph pump with -8 feed and return lines.

    Fuel Line Choice and size

    3/8” -6 would be plenty. 1/2” -8 would be over kill. :-)

Allstar Performance ALL54224 Throttle Cable Bracket

I’ve never used this style but I’m pretty sure I need to run one with my supercharger, and change to a Lokar cable to make it work. I’m not sure of another way.

Lets see your small block 4-bbl throttle return spring setups.

I had to make a 1” riser block on my throttle linkage, to get it to pull somewhat in line. I used the AR Engineering high rise intake throttle cable bracket, & throttle return spring bracket. Seems to work more smoothly now.

dual fuel line recommendations for a 4160 Holley

I made mine out of the earls carb fittings and some aluminum hard line. The length has to be exact if you make it. Took me a couple tries, it shortens up after ya flare it. but all the big brands make the double feed fuel inlets.

    Carburetor choice

What, in your opinion would be the best vacuum advance distributor available? Cost not a factor. I currently have an MSD pro billet mechanical, with digital 6 plus box. I’m thinking a VA distributor would be better for my street driven small blower equipped small block.

What's the best electric fuel pump for carburetor?

I like the Aeromotive stealth 340 pumps. They mount in the fuel tank. Coupled with a good return and their carburetor bypass return regulator, you’d have a good setup.
