I notice that you had sold a couple that actually look like this one but had a different name. Those folks were out of Texas were they not? These (Sorensen) seem to have been out of Kentucky. Not saying either one is better than the other or anything....I personally have no idear on that...I...

Right...I thought all new 5 pins are in fact 4 pins with the extra pin being a dummy if you will....I was just curious when(year range) Ma mopar quit with the 5 pin and went to the 4 pin. Also this set up is really for on car diagnostic....which I have an engine run stand...but I wouldn't mind...

Just bought a 6C that needs to be refurbished.

So far, I've tried CRC Electronic Cleaner, Quick Dry for Sensitive Electronics...it didn't look any different afterwards.

What's the best way to clean them so that they look new and have good connections?

I do think they sell one that looks pre 70 that is electronic but adjustable also. Heck they're selling some now that will bolt to the alternator and are adjustable also...eliminating the one on the firewall for those that want that....I have luck with Mopar stuff...so the one on the firewall is...

I think I've only ran into one voltage regulator that was truly bad. I say that and I played with the Mopar Performance constant 13.5 deal on my 64 Valiant....I don't know it's been 13 or 14 years ago now....and with hardly any use and it died.

Not pre 70's stuff.
