I agree. I can still hear Dan's voice from our many long winded conversations we used to have when I go back thru this thread.

Looking for any documentation '69 Barracuda Fastback

Hi FurysJr , Dan and I were good friends going back a number of years. My son and I road tripped from Texas in 2019 to visit my folks, and my brother, and made a stop to visit your dad and see his barracuda collection. Dan made us a special set of 69 barracuda books for our 69 coupe formula S...

    Our 78 Magnum GT Found

I always loved these. Never had one, but I did have a 77 charger SE back around 1987. Pulled the 400, dropped in a 440. Last gen B bodies were really nice cars. Heres the 77 charger I sold. Interestingly these pix were summer of 1987 coming back from mopar nats. Cooked the starter on the cheapie...

    '69 340

More than likely that is or is supposed to be a 9B347503, not 93347503 since it's a 69 block, and starting in 1969, the last 8 digits of the vin were stamped on engine, trans, and 2 places on the body shell. 9B would be model year 1969. B would be Hamtramck Assembly plant then the 6 digit...

I agree, you dont leave something that nice sitting overnight somewhere. That's just inviting trouble. Plus this older stuff is easy to steal compared to these new cars

    Lost 68 R/T Charger

Good luck. Got a vin number you can run thru carfax? Otherwise it's a needle in a haystack craps shoot.

Try to hunt down the other plate and get it back, or have a replica plate made to replace it. Cool story on the vert.

Found a 1970 340 Swinger fender tag for sale

Whats funny is if the latest owner of the car, if it still exists has the build sheet along with vin, and had a new data plate made lol.

Original Owner: First 1971 Dodge Demon

That low of a vin, especially a demon, he shoulda never sold it.

    Found 68 340 8B209224

Thats fraud. That will get you in a pinch if you do it and pass it off as numbers matching to the wrong person. Especially if the value of the rare ones continues to climb. Hope you got a good attorney in your back pocket.

    Fender Tag replacement

I am interested in this as well. I am modding my 67 notchback. Adding V8, 4 speed. however i wanted the original option coded tag on the fenderwell. I know the tag with the options the car had when new doesnt make it particulary valuable. I mean a slanty 6, bench seat, three on the tree basic...
