    What coolant to use?

Very true, or buy pre mixed 50/50 and forget about it.

    What coolant to use?

Because they will eat everything in the system for some reason. Conventional green, and I believe you can also buy zinc sacrificial anodes to put in the system as well to help with dissimilar metal corrosion. :D

    Heater Box Design - Lame?

Or this if you dont want a cable to open and close it. Nicer looking than a plumbing ball valve. Open it up for winter driving.

Aluminum radiator for a 68 dart

I did something similar to Kendog 170. Did mine about 8-9 years ago. Made a mould, and covered it with plastic film. Stapled an old cotton T shirt over it. Applied a 4 coats of fiberglass resin. Scuffing between coats. When dry, I popped it out of the mould, and flipped it over. Screwed it down...

Classic Auto Air Vs Vintage Air 1975 plymouth Duster

The dash controller , and firewall changed in 1973 on the AC cars. Not sure if it remained the same on non A/C cars after 72. Classic air kit adds a micro switch to the hot/cold slider on non A/C controls. When you move it to full cold, it kicks the compressor on. Kit is designed for a direct...

    Another Cold Case radiator install

Not wanting to get political, but Honestly the pushback will be great from these EOs and killing the oil industry. If I have a guess, they will cap the pipes already in the ground, and wait till midterms, or when hes out of office. The oil wont stop coming, it's just going to come very...

    Radiator has shot craps

Original was bent to crap. I made the same height as the OEM support. The AMD 16 gage exact repop support was $189.95. My bullet proof copy made of 14 gage 2x3 rectangle tube cost me $8, and a lot of fab work to make. Pix of what I removed and replaced. Radiator support to K frame center brace...

    Radiator has shot craps

I have not attempted a stock shroud. I finally settled on how to fix the bent to hell lower radiator support. I am made of more time, than money, plus fabrication skillz so I replaced the lower radiator support with new home fabricated one out of 2x3 14 gage box steel, and repaired the top cap...

    AC or No AC

Both cudas I have were factory without A/C. I plan on putting in the classic auto air solution. 4 rectangle vents mount under the dash, the unit is a straight bolt in to a non A/C firewall and uses the original non A/C slider controls. Adds a micro switch to the cool side of the one slider to...

Where to find a good mechanical fan

Summit sells a version made by Derale for about $44. Riveted steel blades heavy duty. I have seen it there in 17", 18", and 19" take your pick. I have 2 of these in 18" along with Hayden clutches. They fit fine on the clutches.

273 overheating after new timing chain set and waterpump

He stated engine was fine after a T stat change last year, and did not start getting real hot until "right after" he replaced the water pump. I am betting they sold him an A/C type 6 bladed pump. Y'all are shooting down the wrong snake hole. If it was a plugged radiator issue it would have...

273 overheating after new timing chain set and waterpump

Theres 2 types of impellers. 6 blade and 8 blade. The 8 blade impellers are for non A/C cars because of a larger diameter water pump pulley that turns the pump slower. The 2 more blades is to increase the coolent volume because of the larger and slower turning pulley.. The 6 blade impeller...
