Not sure what your asking but for Zbar & linkage make sure that other hole on bottom has bolt/nut as needed on frame rail for strength. And tack weld top portion to sheetmetal there even to frame rail by drilling small holes thru sheet metal and weld to rail for xtra support. D.

Should be "steps" on bottom left of hump to match floor contour to get close? Then just cut hole big enough for shifter/linkage of trans to get as precise as you need.....leaving a inch or so to weld to Thats what I did. D.

4 speed. You will have a fun car regardless of engine choice. As mentioned, resale with 4speed always a plus. Almost done with mine...…… D.

If your sure its an A body shifter, that lower angle would have to be a bucket seat car. IMO.
