Good tip man! I'm probably going with adjustable ones. Still need to take the other side apart to see if it is bent or not.

I already used the push/snap in poly bushings that energy suspension sells. If both sides are bent I'm going adjustables, if not I'll replace it with a used one. Bending it back could mess with the strength of the part. It's pretty critical and I'd rather not have it come apart.

QA1 strut rods are cheaper. Look like similar build quality.

I'm not looking to lubricate the cable, that was already done a month ago. I need to lubricate the speedometer, that is what is making the noise. It's either worn out or needs to be lubricated. Is there a recommended oil to use? like a marvel mystery oil?

I was thinking of updating to a gps speedometer in the future. Perhaps the future is now if I have to replace the speedo head.

The cable isn't what's making the noise though. I had mine apart, cleaned, and lubricated when I changed the speedometer cable seals on the trans end a couple months ago.

Mine isn't jumping at all. The speed is accurate too.

I finally took my barracuda out for some higher speed cruising. I got up to 65 and the speedometer was really really loud. Is there a way to properly lubricate the speedometer? Suggested oil to use and proper method? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure my 7-1/4 was sure grip, it's worn out now though. When I first got it, it would do 11's. Now it's just a one wheel peel. I have an 8.8 to replace it over the winter.

I also have a set of manifolds, shipping would be rough though.

My fwd mazda 2 does this when I peel them (clutch dump). I guarantee it's not limited slip.

just an update, put in two more quarts used the wire method and it reads between where it should. Car moves on it's own again. I need to re-time it though, my dad decided to "help" me by advancing my timing. Now it cranks hard and doesn't run right. Shut it down immediately.

I don't think I have the deep pan, it seemed like a normal run of the mill pan to me. plus the filter was pretty close to the pan as is from what I could tell. Plan is to do the wire method then compare to the current stick. if it's good it's good, if it's not right I'll trim till it's right...
