    PST Suspension Kits

Wasn't bashing, just stating a better description would be helpful especially when there are more than one option available. Ad reads strut rod bushings included.?????? If you don't know everything about all that's available could lead to assumptions as to what you ordered.

    PST Suspension Kits

I received my super kit from pst and was also disappointed with the one piece strut rod bushings. I'm not laying blame only stating that perhaps in the description of the kit it could also say please specify one or two piece strut rod bushings. This being my first crack a front end work was...

pics of those redone front end parts

Great pictures guys. Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking if you are going to all that trouble why not try something a little different. Have to admit I do like the black/silver combination. Seeing the cast color show up on a lot of cars at the shows now as well.

I'm sure they look awesome and since Leanna did them, no doubt they're flawless.

pics of those redone front end parts

Don't get me wrong, they look great in black. Just wondering with all the fantastic restorations on here if someone had done something a little different.

pics of those redone front end parts

Anybody have pics of there front end pieces redone? Just in the process of teardown and was thinking of repainting in something other than black. Some of the new tubular components come in a hammer grey/silver finish? Any thoughts? Satin black always works.:glasses7:

    68 dart manual steering

That's the problem it's not obvious. You can pull back on the steering wheel and it comes out about an inch and stops. I'm a little apprehensive in just pulling it apart without having a clue what could be missing or what to really look for.:banghead:

    68 dart manual steering

Anyone have a schematic or a link to a drawing of steering column breakdown for 68 dart? I have an inch of travel in and out of the column. I know from previous threads there is a collapsable part in there, but I'ld like to know before hand if possible what I'm in for. Thanks in advance...

    What am I looking for?

Can I just put a stop collar on the firewall side up against the collar that fastens to the firewall, that the shaft comes through?

    What am I looking for?

Ya the pin is there. The steering shaft slides in and out of the coupler by about an inch. Must be whatever holds the shaft in the column housing.

    What am I looking for?

Your right ,its a metal plate with a rubber seal, not a rag joint . Didn't know what to call it.Movement isn't in the input shaft to the steering box but in the joint from the input shaft to the steering column.

    What am I looking for?

What would cause the steering column to move in and out about an inch? Not out of the steering box but just below the rag joint in that 2.5-3" collar. Is the a clip or stop somewhere? 1968 GTS no power steering. Thanks in advance.
