That is a 904. You can tell by the front servo being closer to the centerline of the trans. The 727 had the servo outboard more and this bumping out the pan rail in that area

looks like something some one fabbed up to be used as a thermostat housing spacer and the plug is for a temp sender.

No such size.... the reason this bellhousing is different is because it was machined for the hemi or 440hp a833 retainer diameter

yea, but it has the 4.8" hemi/440hp retainer bore instead of 4.35" bore.
