I believe you have to heat them up before you clean them also. I did this on the car Use a small wire brush and they clean up pretty good!!!

I have the Hookers. Let me tell you they protect my oil pan like no other. If your gonna drive it on the street don't get the hookers!!!!

I have Hooker Super comps also. Like Moper said after I bash :shock: the lower tube about 1/4" on the highway I've never bashed it again. :D

I have the hooker ceramic coated comp headers. I DO NOT have power steering. The center link runs through drivers side header. It was no rougher than any other headers. They do fit well. You will have to lose the stock starter and go with a mini starter, if you ever want to change the starter...
