I have a MOPAR radiator that has part number 2276832 on it. I’ve heard this is for a 62 or 63 Dart or Valiant with a /6 and manual transmission. Can anyone confirm this? Looking to identify it at this point. If I decide to sell it I will post a For Sale ad. Thanks!

Just pull the pipe plugs out of the water jackets and drain it. Might be able to flush it through the thermostat housing opening after that.

Fiberglass it. I had to reattach all the clip brackets on mine and it worked great

I left mine natural as well! Painted the doors with Krylon Duplex Satin Black! Stuff sprays really nice!

I had a couple fussy ones too. Even with bending them to make them larger, I still cracked the fiberglass on the housing. It as in a non-visible place, so I just bought a fiberglass repair kit and patched it up. Had to remount a couple of the cable mounts too because they broke off

I'm thinking it seals one of the small doors in the unit, similar to the long one does by the heater core and bigger door. I just put one of these kits in my 70 duster box and am not real sure where the shorter gray one goes either!

I've had a couple Mr. Gasket chrome ones that always sealed well with the O ring on them but took them off during tear downs and couldn't find new O rings again.

Could be the gage or sending unit too.
