C body brake cables on A body 8.75”

Hello. Putting 11x2.5 brakes off a C body 8.75 on my A body 8.75 axle. Parking brake cables seem to measure the same length overall) other than the sheath length). Any reason they won’t work? My RH A body one is bound up and the C body ones both move freely! I appreciate the help!!

    Wire Wrapped Around Brake Line

A lot of new cars actually have plastic extruded over the steel brake lines for protection, both from corrosion and wear, abrasion, impacts, etc. I have several customers that do this in Michigan. First time I saw it, it threw me for a loop, as I thought the whole line was plastic!

    1970 Duster brakes

You can buy 15” SBP wheels, but choices are limited. I’m planning on running 15” rallies, so no big deal to me.

    Replacing studs on K-H setup?

I’ve made dies out of nuts before by filing a few angled grooves in them part way through the threads. It may clean the threads up well enough to make them work.

A good reason to run braided lines on rear disk. Ouch!

Is there enough meat on the caliper to grind it to fit?

    anyone ever seen these rotors?

They look like they were redrilled? What bolt pattern is the wheel? 4" or 4.5"? Could they be redrilled Ford Mustang ones. If I remember correctly, a 67-ish Ford Mustang rotor can be machined to fit the right bearings and gain the 4.5" botl pattern.

73 duster with 440 wanting to fit brake booster

My guess is that if you could fit the booster in it with a big block, you'd never be able to remove the valve cover if you wanted to! Have a friend with a 500 inch motor in a 68 dart and he told me I was smart planning on staying with a small block! LOL! I have a fresh 440 in the garage that...

    Front drum self-adjuster

Could always pull the drum and remove it from the assembly. Would be easier to work on that way, just more labor to get at it!
