    Billet BBM heads

A friend of mine is running a Steve Morris LSX twin turbo billet motor in a 2010 Camaro. It’s a small tire car, so he’s not running a ton of boost yet. With an iron block twin turbo monstrosity from Steve Morse, he went 7.59 at Drag Week in a back halfed Mustang a couple years back.

    408 SB versus BB 541

IMHO, he’s not much of a friend if he’s bashing your choice of cars. Find new friends-you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

    Closed / Open Chamber Heads

Closed chamber is going to raise your compression versus an open chamber head. If running closed, you need to make sure your pistons sit low enough so the valves don't slap the top of the piston

need a rough idea on value??

Buddy price or Craigslist price? LOL! The intakes are not real desirable. Don't know what bore the blocks are at (std, .030) or the cranks but if he'd take $500 you'd be doing well IMO

    So I found a 383 fully assembled.

Buy it! I bought a complete 383 and 727 out of a 68 Newport for $150 a few years back. Still sitting in my garage!

    How Tight Is It?

I talked to a guy at a car show a couple weeks ago that put a 440 in a 65 Fish. It was tight - had fenderwell headers. Master cylinder had been relocated to under the dash on the passenger side .

    Good Deal or what?

Big blocks are more expensive to rebuild than a small block - just saying. Nothing wrong with 77 440's. Have a fresh one in the garage that should be about 450 hp on pump gas. Nothing crazy -just good parts!!! Enjoy!

They all had forged cranks in them......The industrial heads didn't have the front water openings on them, although I think they can be machined for this. Do a google search - there's lots of info out there on them! Make a great conversation piece - I have a 1953 Dodge 241 also. They weigh...

    Industrail hemi

The industrial ones have different heads on them. I have a 1958 Dodge 354 that I know car heads/intakes off a 331-354 will bolt on. There are parts available for these old girls, but part interchangability leaves a bit to be desired. Most parts do not interchange among different...
