Just use the attached diagram for throttle arm reference. it should be attached to the hole closest to the real large hole.

Re-adjust the carb end of the cable. loosen the allen set screw, turn your adjusters back in to give you more adjustability, and then re-set and re-tighten the cable end with the allen set screw. You'll likely need to lop off a little bit of the cable...

Its not difficult. Mine just sits on a couple of pieces of 1"x1" square bar that are through bolted, and the straps bolt to them. Makes your spare tire well pretty useless though.

i tossed my old BBD as far as i could and replaced it with a motorcraft 2bbl from an 80s ford trucks and vans with the 302 V8. it was a 2100 series with 1.08 stamped on it, you may need an adaptor, i'm not sure if the flange pattern is different on your truck, it was on my D400 but the adaptor...

I agree, the 2100 series motorcraft is lightyears better than a carter. most jeep guys with carters make the switch and swear by em.

i'm a little late here, but i sure do remember a very reputable magazine with initials MM wrote about none other than mother mopar having some 2x4 set-ups. i think they may have been for w-2 heads, but they were still available.
