A lot of people use buckets from newer cars from the salvage yards. Have seen some that people got pretty reasonable. I might go that way myself, can't afford even the new covers. I need new foam also.

The one in my kid's swinger is shot even the springs. Keep telling him he needs a new one and he's like "i'll just deal with it" I'm sure someone will step up that's looking for one.

no but my guess would be that it might be pretty hard to go from black to white. I was looing at some tan seats and i needed black, talked to a couple guys that do upholstery for a living. They told me they'd advise not to do front seats because they get too much wear, easy to scratch etc...

Just replaced the one on the kids dart with one from autozone or advance. Like $5-6. It had the one red/pink 90* end wire (hot) hanging behind the ashtray, believe it grounds on ashtray. All I know is it works now.
