$35 Electric Power Steering with Fail-Safe - No eBay module and no caster issues!!!

Something is binding for sure. There are only a few wires (+ and -) and the 12v keyed wire. If the box is clicking, that is the relay firing up. The first motor I got was infact bad. I tested it on the bench and it didn't freely move lock to lock. It had a hard spot in it. So went ahead and got...

First drive after brake upgrade, then - BANG!

Did the torsion bar release from it's hex socket? Like back out because the clip was missing? Check where the torsion bar enters the trans cross member. That would explain the bang and the drop..

Adjustable strut rods making terrible sound 74 Swinger

Glad you found it, but I'm not sure I follow how that could be hitting the adjuster bolt? The adjuster bolt goes through that block from the bottom.

Great camera work. Curious what you find out. It sounds to me like worn out shocks.

    Camber bolts

Does it matter which way the camber bolts face? Should the nut side be out or in or does matter?

How to "rough in" front end alignment after rebuild?

Careful, while he may have numbers in his head, they are probably for bias ply tires. Had the same thing happen to me,.great old timer, but I brought my specs in he said why would you want these specs and I replied because the car isn't stock. He didn't have much of an answer after that.

    Need advice. Remove K frame?

I'm right there with you. Built some wheel cribs, removed the number, uses the mounting brackets to attach the bar, hooked the cherry picker to it and lifted it up high. Bought an hydraulic cart from HF. Dropped the entire K down with the motor. Plan is to reinstall the same way from the...

Is there an easy way to degrease and de rust a K frame?

Simple green, hot water, the wire wheel on my angle grinder. I used Rust-Oleum oil based primer an then gloss black. The gallon ones you get at Lowe's. I thinned it with acetone per the instructions and sprayed it. Worked great.

$35 Electric Power Steering with Fail-Safe - No eBay module and no caster issues!!!

Yes it needs to be plugged in. There should be 4 wires, I believe. I have done the swap. Should be + and - to battery. The 12+ accessory wire and the wire from the epas motor to the module. Now just so you know the box has to sense "torque" for it assist. I first hooked it up on a bench and...

Do I just tighten this up? Or so I need a new arm? It's a new. I noticed the noise when I pulled into the garage and had my son rock the steering wheel back and forth. Yikes!
