    I always cut the starter part off the bell housing cover so you don't have to pull the starter out to get to the converter so it can be drained .. Mine doesn't have the small cover either because I just got the shield from Chrysler...Yup still available... Bill

    It is an easy fix drop the pan and check the servo and band adjustment.. it will cost you a fraction of what the shipping will be one way... It sounds like the snap ring popped out of the groove or reverse band is way out of adjustment... It will take you all of an hour to do...Bill
