    I am running a 408, 6-71, I have 28cc inverted pistons, I am also using a thicker cosmetic head gasket to help with lowering compression. I have never had a problem using 93 octane fuel and 10psi boost, But if I had it to do again and I new I was going forced induction I wouldn't stroke.

    Jack if I were you I would steer clear of the TCI. I have one in my car and it is not worth the money I spent on it. It will be coming out.

    If you want to run very much boost go ahead and drop your compression ratio. Unless of course you're gonna run race gas or inner cooler or something along that line.

    Don't know how much more room you need but the dual contour fans is thinner than the chrysler dual electric fan. I am using the contour fans on the champion 26" radiator, had to modify my upper core support slightly, this allowed me to move my radiator far enough forward that I have about 1/4"...

    Strange problem with 6-71

    Jack I agree with 67 cuda, little work but may be worth the effort. Did you by any chance drop your belt and roll your pulley by hand to see if you could find any hint of binding or anything. You said it was making a strange noise, can you kinda describe the noise.

    I am running a msd with the msd 6-btm on a 6-71 @ 28* timing 7-8 psi boost, car idles and runs fine
