    I guess I didn't understand the set screw idea, but you only seem to have barely enough thread depth to hold a stud.

    You can check the depth of the others with a piece of wire with a 90 degree bend on the end. Hook it under the bottom of the bolt hole and mark it to measure. I do think studs are your only answer.

    The valve reliefs in my KB 240's are listed at 8 cc's, so I am guessing yours are closer to 4 cc's

    I'd love to see the before and after dyno sheets with the head change. Depending on the cam I would expect more than a little power difference, like maybe 100 HP?

    Thanks, I like the torque curve of the 396 better. Torque is fun on the street.

    I transplanted a stock Commando 273 into a 68 Barracuda with 3.23 gears, and it was a low 16 second car. Low 12's is amazing!

    I've never seen a hub dyno before. It makes sense, eliminates tire spin as a factor, and no chance of jumping off the rollers.
