    I guess I should have been more specific. I have a 70 Duster with full 2.5" TTI exhaust now. I want to cut the ends of the tailpipes off and install the factory style tips. Just wondering if anyone has done this.

    My recommendation is to loosen clamp on the back of the muffler and rotate the tail pipe so it doesn’t hit the spring.

    I have 1/2" relo kit and full TTI exhaust system, not a single problem anywhere. My tailpipes are new as of a few months ago. How old are yours? I wonder if they changed designs. It think it probably also depends on the type of leaf springs you have. If mine were flatter, I can see how it would...

    Haven't driven it yet, but super close! I've read nothing but good things so I figured I'd give it a shot. It has to be better than the factory box.
