I guess I should have been more specific. I have a 70 Duster with full 2.5" TTI exhaust now. I want to cut the ends of the tailpipes off and install the factory style tips. Just wondering if anyone has done this.

Has anyone installed factory style (2.5") exhaust tips on TTI tailpipes? If so, how did they fit? Any contact with the gas tank or leaf springs? Thanks!

My recommendation is to loosen clamp on the back of the muffler and rotate the tail pipe so it doesn’t hit the spring.
