    Smog Port Hole/Header Problem

I had the same problem whan I put a 360 into my '63 Dart and didn't realise the early manifolds don't cover the smog holes. As I didn't have any taps and didn't want to pull the car apart I just used some big self tapping screws and wound them in - the cast iron's pretty soft - it worked fine...

    dodge dakota shorty headers?

I emailed a guy who was selling some cheapy shorty headers on ebay a while back and got dimensions - they wouldn't have fit on my '63. The Edelbrocks look like a similar design so I'd guess they wouldn't fit either.

    Exhaust manifolds on my 273

the manifolds I used are off a mid 90's van - I think Dakota, Ram and van manifolds are all pretty much the same. they are a tight fit and I had to shorten the steering column jacket but it's still easier to work on than when I had stock 273 manifolds - and waggin's right the 273 manifolds do...

    Exhaust manifolds on my 273

I've got magnum manifolds on my '63 with manual steering and they're a very tight fit - I don't think they'd work with power steering

Jegs 2 1/2" exhaust reference pics

I'd be interested in how much modification would be required to make it fit an early A as well. I guess that it wouldn't fit straight on because I think the gas tanks are different?

    Summit brand exhaust kits

i know it's not an A-body but fwiw I use a 2.5 inch Summit kit with mufflers on my '68 Coronet. The tailpipes all fit pretty nice but had to modify the front of the system to connect to the Summit headers - apparently the system is designed for Hooker headers. Still came out nicer than I'd have...

    Summit exhaust kit

I used the summit kit on my 68 Coronet. the back half fit pretty good but had to cut and weld the front (I've got summit headers not the hookers they recommend) I think the mufflers are too quiet tho and would probably use flowmasters or similar if i redid it

    Anybody use Summit's exhaust kit

used a summit 2.5" kit on my 68 Coronet - the tail pipes fit pretty good but I've got summit headers so the front didn't fit at all. still worth the money tho
