    Torsion bar remove tool

Speaking of stuck T-bars.... what method do you use when they don't want to come out? And yes, I removed the clip, backed the adjusters all the way off. Apply heat to the T-bar socket in the frame?

Broadband in America from an insider.

Yeah, we still have butt-sets. We need to verify the phone numbers and make test calls. If the guy was just sitting there, just the set and no other visible signs of being a real employee, and left the pedestal open, chances are he's not.

Broadband in America from an insider.

We started a few years ago of not placing any new copper to greenfileds. New Mdu/mtu house services such as alarms and elevators are on fiber as well. We just have to supply the initial battery at install. We have been doing CLECs on our fiber for several years. As for SFU greenfields, if the...

Broadband in America from an insider.

You are spot on. The only thing I see different on the east coast here in the mid-Atlantic area, is we are refusing copper installs and repairs in targeted areas. If fiber has been placed and turned up as an overlay to the copper, a copper trouble will be deemed "fiber is the only fix". Copper...

Super simple/brilliant rattle can tool: Rustoleum Comfort Grip

I thought I read the guy with the 383 hemi 6 pack Belvedere said he had the only left-hand metric adjustable wrench. He used it to adjust the air pressure in his full-size donut spare.

Hand truck. What do you have and do you like it?

I've got an old hand truck from UPS. Solid rubber tires. I have abused it well for the last 20 years. I don't think I could break it if I wanted to.

    Lifting the 'Cuda

Good idea. The only thing I would caution you on is the hollow block platform you had the floor jack on for stags 2 of the lift.... Hollow blocks on their side like that are not as strong as they are if the hollows/holes are perpendicular to the floor - in other words, in the same fashion as the...

One tool every gearhead should have and why

An air compressor. You might consider it a piece of equipment, as opposed to a tool..... But still.

Ring Gap File near Baltimore needed....

So as it turns out, none of my usual go-to peeps have a ring file. Building Jake's stroked 360 and we are at that point. Any members within an hour of Baltimore wanna help a member out?
