The balancer would have been on, holding back 99% of the leak, but I agree, how did it not leak? Did the balancer smash enough of the knurls to act like a non-knurled snout enough to not leak?

I'm digging the nylon cam gear.... Not! Must be a low milage engine, based on the cam gear being so not broke up yet.

Speaking of old stock, how old is too old? Is a 20 yr old still new in the box oil filter too old? Does the filter media break down just from age? Asking for a friend...... lol

Easy peasy. Park on level ground. Put in the amount of oil the engine is supposed to be filled with, with the filter. Run it for a few min to make sure the filter gets full. Shut it off and wait 5 min so the oil up top drains back into the pan. Pull the dipstick, wipe it clean and reinsert...

I did the Phoenix stripe kit 7 years ago when the truck was painted. They did not last as long as the originals did, before they started failing.

It's a shame the whole damn truck grew goosebumps all over l, except under the stripes. Removing the stripes leaves a ghost of shelby. Kinda makes me wish I could get an off white shelby stripe kit and make it a ghost effect, since I've slightly modified the truck.
