Make those 11 inchers power drum brakes. The power drums on the 69 Fury I had stopped better than my 89 Dakota and 97 Ram.

I think you will find that the 3 in the vin is not for a high performance slant 6. It is for the high price line model with a slant 6.

The car has been together for 6 years and he drives the snot out of it - no noticeable gas stains on the qtr.

It does pretty ok. Once in a great while he'll get a little bit of a splash leak, but nowhere as bad as we've all seen the original type cap leak. It may also be the not to great of quality seal on the repopped flip top.

Don, Jake and I did it with a cut out from a 68 qtr. Not the adapter look your looking for pics of, but like @66jim says - looks factory. We should have cut it in up higher on the qtr , as opposed to the original 65 location.

My son's 65 B'cuda and I don't have a pic of it showing the clearance. 15x8 wheel vintiques sbp mopar looking rallye with 4.25 backspace. Running 235 60's. Stock spring location, a body 8.75 rear with Dr diff green bearing axles. No clearance issues.

235/60/15 on wheel vintique mopar looking rallyes, no mods, no rubs. 8-3/4 a body rear , factory axles, under a 65 Barracuda. It's tight, but not uncomfortable tight.

I would put the driver's side manifold on after the engine is in. Besides the steering shaft, I believe the master cylinder is also an obstacle on the early A.

We did the scarbird thing on Jake's 65. It uses the original SBP hubs by removing the drums from them..... Find a donor late A for the upper arms and spindles/brackets. Then you can get new rotors/calipers/hoses. That'll get you BBP and fit the 14 inch wheels. There may be other aftermarket...

What Jake said..... On my son Jake's 65 B'cuda, no relation to the above mentioned Jake, he went with the airgap on his stroked 360. We used the original 273 thin mounts and he had to get a dropped base air cleaner. Went to pep boys and picked up a generic 14 inch air cleaner for about 18...

A gazillion spot welds behind where the bumper hides them.... and i think 2 bolts on each side at the lower end of the quarter.

Do it! We made a set in the very same way for Jake's 65 B'cuda. Easy enough physically and finacially on his high school part time budget at the time....
