    500k on a slant from a tlwrecked taxi went into my 71 Dart in high school. A quart of oil every other month, but the motor and the car were free. Sold it a year later to the dispatcher at the tax company. He and his daughter drove it for several years before I lost touch with them.

    timing gears replacement....one question

    Impact gun on the balancer bolt. If the torque from the gun turned it any at all, wrap a rag around the end of the crank and use a pipe wrench to turn it back to where you are lined up again. Or put the bolt back in and use a ratchet to move it back.
