Just an fyi,you can use the ported constant vacuum source on the carb for the vacuum advance if you want. It does not work as well on cars with power brakes, best on manual brake cars. During hard stops can kill the car . In fact late 50's to early 60's cars came like this from the factory

My 2 cents..... Had quite a few customers with them. They suck, they're noisy and dont pull as much vacuum as you would like. I installed only one, and never again. Go hydroboost and don't look back....

I do agree with alot of statements here. I myself go to shows to get trophies truly only for biz purposes, since this is what I do for work...but I have seen time and time again, the wrong people judging... Even Mopar shows where a club puts it on and "members" win when its obvious their car...

well I will say that I KNOW that chevy never made a BB 400. I only stated that the emblems on a truck I have here say 400, yet its a factory 402 BB truck....that's all. I know a bit about alot of manufacturers....I work on ALL of them... wow guys, didn't know I hit a sore spot..

I know about the 400 small block, but they did make the 402, like Toolman said. I have one sitting in my shop ready to go into a 72 c10 shortbed factory 402 truck that has "400" emblems on it from the factory.

Well, the chevy guys do call the 402's(396's bored .030 over) the BB 400's...at least the chevy guys I know...lol.
