    I'm guessing your oblivious to the fact the deck surface is neither flat, nor perpendicular to the crankshaft centerline.

    For fucks sakes, send me $2500 and I'll ship you my old van norman 777s boring bar setup. Its complete with all the cutting bits, the tools, the various sets of catspaws, and the tray micrometer. It's in a nice roll around cabinet also.

    Who can recommend a good Freon A/C electronic leak detector?

    I never had any real luck with ANY of the electronic sniffers....I have had better luck with the dye you inject, and inspect with a light....just my 2 cents

    The problem with those type of benders, is that they tend to crush the pipe if you make more than a very slight bend... Mandrel bent is what you want, but thats mega money for those. I have found you can buy pre-bent 45s and 90s, and cut and weld whatever you need..
