    20psi stock 5.9 carnage

I can assure you there is a whole WORLD of mopar guys that are NOT cheap. And the chevy stuff at the same power/durability level isnt as different as people think cost wise. The "cheap bastards" are the people who follow garbage builders like UTG. Not all mopar guys are that stupid.

    20psi stock 5.9 carnage

I think you misconstrued my comment. Tony has a history of "borrowing content" from other channels to give his input. ( THATS what I was referring to) it was a bit of a joke, but true. A recent example is the video of the "600HP 318" failure. It was someone elses engine, he made a video...

That's some seriously cool thinking outside the box!

Richard Holdener - 5.9 Magnum series

Not yet, but he is planning on testing that also. But regardless, as tested out of the junkyard with nothing more than headers, it allready makes more power than that pos UTG 318 we all hear about

    CRANK WOBBLE!! Updated, found problem

Hard to tell from that, but it APPEARS the pulley is what is wobbling, ballancer looks to be running true...hard to say without being there in person.

    turbo build/ mild restore

Are there jamb nuts on those tie rod sleaves to keep them from loosening up? cant tell in the pictures. We ran a setup like that in my oval track racing days, costs about 45.00 per side total, all parts can be bought from speedway motors.

    Turbo 360 D150

I feel a little nervous about the whole cast crank idea, but I have never built a turbo motor, so maybe that's gonna be fine.

    300 hp slant w/turbo... suggestion

It is certainly unique to build a turbo slant, and I agree with everything you said above. I considered building one for one of my project cars a while back.

    300 hp slant w/turbo... suggestion

If you really wanna run high 12s in a A body, the simpler, cheaper, and easier way to do it is with a junkyard magnum 360. Id say even doable with a magnum 318 also.

    piston recommendation

I wouldn't use a cast crank OR hyper pistons on a turbo build....IMHO

Slant six turbo cost analysis: 300 hp

Funny thing is, most of the turbo slant six builds, go on for EVER, with tuning issues ect, and ONE big proponent of building a turbo slant, has been working on one for YEARS and it still has yet to make a pass....... the slant is NOT a performance secret....its a durable bread and butter engine...

Do I Have The Right Cam?

if you put solid flat tappets on a roller cam, I would expect you would have some parts breaking shortly. The roller lifters are taller, sometimes the pushrod holes in the head need enlarging, no big deal.

    Crank question

I agree, I would rather have a crank at .010 anyday!!
