    Not sure about all 360's but not all small block cranks are machined for a pilot bushing but all can be retrofitted with the newer style pilot bearing that presses into the area where the torque convertor snout fits into. You might have to shorten the input shaft of the transmission around 3/8...

    Vbelt Size

    I got a ball park length by doing the same thing and then I bought three belts 1/2 inch apart. I took back the leftover belts once I figured out which belt was perfect.

    When my cheapie chinese HEI dist. died. I went back to a normal Mopar electronic dist. and then used the HEI module in place of the stock ignition box. I rigged this up as a temporary solution with plans later to make it look nicer, that was months ago.

    I used one that was similar. The pickup died in one week and the distributor wasn't serviceable. I would make sure you can get parts.

    I am running v-belts on my magnum and a LD340 manifold. I used a 90 degree fitting I bought off of Ebay. I made my own brackets for the AC compressor, so maybe I have a smidgen more clearance. Just an idea. Rod
