Is the adjusting rod directly behind the torsion bar, hidden?

In the picture above, it looks like the spring is between the clutch fork and the z-bar, parallel to the adjusting fork rod.

Normally there is a spring from the clutch fork to a spot forward on the bellhousing. The spring is stretched when the clutch is pushed in.

All LA and newer magnum small blocks have same bellhousing pattern, all will bolt up to your A904. All LA and newer magnum engines are the same external dimensions. Yes you can put a four barrel on a newer fuel injected engine. My 5.9 magnum stroked to 408 with a 780 Holley.

I would be willing to bet you have an externally/internally balanced parts mismatch issue.

I bought drag racing studs (3 inches I think) and cut them down to the size I needed.

I am kind of surprised the 67-69 barracuda fastbacks haven't risen in price faster than they have. They make about the coolest looking drag car their is. With the 68 hemi darts and bcudas still ruling, I would think they would be closer to price to B and E bodies. Rod

I can remove my oil pan in my 69 bcuda with a 440. I have to lower the drag link and it helps alot to glue the gaskets and windage tray to the pan before trying to put it back in. Rod

I put the headliner in my 69 and it really wasn't very difficult and it turned out perfect. Let it sit in the sun for a while prior to installing. Rod
