    i have a 408 and had a similar noise.. this may sound stupid. but it was the tti header hitting on the oil pan on the driver side.. it was hard to see and notice.. .. a couple of well placed dings on the header and some engineering fixed it.. now its all good. no power loss, no rattle. it...

    Need opinions on a 408 stroker build

    i have a 408 stroker.. eddy alum heads 10.5-1 pistons.. with the current tune.. it dyno'd at 365 hp at the rear wheels.. no cage.. its a blast to drive.. goes real fast real quick, and real straight....

    i had a vibration in mine.. for sure it sounded like bearings.. lower end.. ended up being the headers touching the pan.. easy fix.. but i chased a lot of loose ends before i figured it out..

    mine is a 360 stroked.. hence a 408 crazy street car... and a neck breaker.. the mrs will usually drive any car in the herd.. but not this one.. she is scared of it.. all 110 lbs of her.. but all aside.. my 408 def rocks
