I have a GVOD, LOVE IT. I'd highly recommend one to anyone thinking about it. IT's a game changer. But...I would not run on e behind a 4 speed. I'd get an OD manual trans first.

I took one out years ago. I think you can get it out without pulling the dash. The over center spring IIRC is the hardest part.

I used the floor mounted Wilwood one in the past. The one you picture is a top mounted, like the factory. YOu can use remote resevoirs

It sounds like the 4 speed OD is a 3 speed with 4th gear being the OD gear. Is that correct?

If I were doing a manual trans swap you can bet your *** I'd be putting an OD or double OD tranny in whatever I was building and there are plenty that will take the HP level you will be putting out

You will need the remote master cylinder model

Last one I did I used a wilwood pedal set. Bolt in and go. Easy as pie and the hydraulic clutch was nice to have as well.

In my race car I run a hydraulicly activated mechanical clutch. Love it.

It would seem if everything is working right you might want to make a stop of sorts at the bottom
