lying under cars is gonna be a thing of the past

Bought my first one 19 years ago and my second one 3 years ago. Best tool I’ve ever bought, and I’ve bought a lot of tools… I would recommend buying the jack adapter.

    Lets talk Torque wrenchs

I bought a 3/4" drive torque wrench from Princess Auto for I think $70 or $80 on sale. I had the calibration checked at work and the calibration guy said it was extremely accurate. If you're close to Georgetown I can lend you mine.

Whatever hoist you get, buy the proper sliding jack adapter for it. Here’s my poor man’s 4 car garage.

    4 Post with Jack Tray

I’ve got two 4 post hoists and have a RJ-35 sliding jack on each of them. Definitely worth the price, considering how much safer it is than using bottle jacks on the jacking tray. I built a trolly to move a jack to the other hoist if I need both jacks on one hoist. Those jacks are HEAVY! Shop...

Where would one get a 17/64 box wrench?

I've bought wheel cylinders for my Dart that have had metric bleeder screws. I remember a loose fitting metric wrench (7 mm I think) worked with a rag between.

    Car Lifts

Agreed that the 2 post offers more versatility but, if he is using the hoist at home he will require reinforced concrete pads to anchor the 2 post hoist to. With a four post hoist regular residential concrete is sufficient and he had the ability to move the hoist around with the caster kit if...

    Car Lifts

I've had a 4 post for 11 years and I love it. I would highly recommend getting the jack unit too. I didn't buy it right away when bought the hoist and it was a pain in the butt jacking the car up to get the wheels off using bottle jacks. The jack unit makes it so easy to get the wheels off...

Atlas 4 Post Lift.....life is good.

Bought a Direct-lift 11 years ago. Best tool I have ever purchased. Turned my 2 car garage into a 3 car garage with some mods to the garage door and opener. Saved me a ton in storage and repair costs that I wouldn't be able to do with the car on jacks.

Yes you can take them off to wash. They are held on with velcro. Anything Maguire's will be good quality IMO.
