I had a huge argument with a customs agent about them charging HST on shipping. I told her it was BS to charge me taxes on something that was consumed in the US and I wasn't importing "shipping" into Canada and also drove 2 hours using gas that I paid 75% tax on per liter , plus 13% HST and 5%...

I'm done with Ebay for this reason. In the past using USPS/Canada Post, I have had a ton of items come across from the U.S with no duty, taxes or brokerage/customs charges applied. I'm sure the greedy Canadian government has a lot to do with this global shipping swindle pressuring Ebay to jam...
