She's striped and cleared, its getting wet sanded and buffed today, unfortunately I can't help because I have to work. Here are some pics after the clear was shot last night.

I'll post more pics tomorrow when she's been cleared

Well we got the basecoat put on today, the stripes and the clear will go on in the morning, here's the progress so far.

Wow, the Demon is looking awesome. I agree the wheel/tire combination on it looks awesome. Definitely how I want my duster to look when I get the funds. I can't wait to see more pics.

I am going to keep the 318, I have a new set of heads from aerohead racing, 268h comp cam, double roller timing set, 600 edelbrock carb and performer intake, and headers ready to go. Also going to put new rings and crank bearings in. Next year I hope to swap my single pull to a 3.55 sure grip...

Thanks, Using Limco Base coat clear coat. It seems to be covering really well. I can't remember the brand of the clear.

I thought I would post a few more pics, Its been almost a month now, and I'm about a week away from getting it back. I am definitely liking the way the lemon twist is looking on her!!

The new patches have been welded in and most of the larger dings have been beat out of it. I would say we're about a week away from getting it painted. My new twister stripes should be in early next week!

Every since I was a little kid my uncle has always promised me he would do the body work and paint my car when I got older. Now that I'm 28 and finally have a mopar, I'm holding him to it. I just picked this car up about a month ago, its a Tennessee car with very little rust. Its had an amateur...
