Have you tried the M/T Pro's instead of the the S/S? My buddy car swears by the Pro's, he said his S/S were like driving on ice in comparison.

I bought a set of wheel vintiques about two years ago, they were supposed to be 15 x 7 4.25" back space, the box even said 4.25" back space. One rim was 4.5" bs and the other was 4.375" total lack of quality control.

I like the ralley's, I have a date code set of 15" off a 70 beeper.

You could have bought them new for $70 a tire, from Tire Rack shipped, just put 4 new ones on my Duster.

The car is a 73 Duster.

This is my car 275/60/15 on a factory 15 x 7 with 4.25" back space, plenty of room between the springs and 1/4 panel. No spacers.

Check the Lugnut King for lug-nuts, just tell them the wheels you have and the car the wheels are going on, they will have the right lug-nuts in stock.

Take the front disk setup and mastercylinder off that car.

Steel wheels are stamped size and date code, visible with no tire on the rim.

Check the lug nut king. They sell lugs for vintage wheels.

This is a pic of 33 10.50 15 on the same vehicle. Way too wide. I cannot remember right now the width of the 16" rims, but I do remember the 15" were 10 inches wide.

Yes, I will take a picture after work with a tape measure. Sitting next to my wife’s cj with 31 10.50’s they are noticeably taller.

BFG makes a LT255/65/16 which has 8” tread width and is 33” tall. I have the mud terrian on my Willy’s.

If you want to error on the safe side, just go a size smaller, 255, they will fit with room to spare.

If my car was not at my buddies body shop I would gladly loan him a tire and wheel.
