    Twin turbskies!!

Yes they are strong, a buddy has a 5.3 with a T75 single turbo, on a low buck build, it just stays together, it made 699 at the rear wheels on the local dyno. Another buddy has a stroked BBC with twin T75's, it made 702 rear wheel on the same dyno. The limiting factor is the fuel injection, it...

    Twin turbskies!!

Keep the boost on the lower side like 6-7 psi, the stock engine may last for a while. at 15 psi, things don't play nice, unless a lot of money is spent.

    You're best guess please.

That is a real short snout on the blower, plus it look like the firewall is un-cut. Somebody really thought that set up out.

    Higher Gears for Turbo Cars

Those EV are fast, not a fan but... Me and my friends do the local flash light drags, always pit in the same spot. On weekend, a lady in her mid 40's shows up in a Tesla, pitted right beside us. That thing was quick and consistent. She was very modest, said she had nothing to do that day, and...

    Can't choose between 2 turbos

I will never build one either, that twin turbo 318 I built, is turning into a 6-71 toy, I will run the teen, until I build a proper large cube small block for the supercharger.

    Can't choose between 2 turbos

Rusty I would have to agree. A buddy of mine has a junk yard 5.3, that the junkyard sat in the bed of my truck and I hauled the engine for him. He tore it down just to check it, threw rings and bearings in it. Added valve springs and a small cam. Not one part seen the machine shop. Thru it in...

Torqstorm.. let's see how it does

3.5" will not hurt you at all. My co-worker runs 5" from his turbo to the rear bumper on his truck, and its not a diesel. That truck is stupid crazy, it will bust the rear tires loose at 55 mph. He had to turn the boost down to 9 psi just to make it drivable. 19 psi made the truck...

Torqstorm.. let's see how it does

Holley sells a carb hat, that sits lower than the one you have.

174/177 supercharged small block, where to start?

I have no idea who manufactured this one, it was on the set up when I bought it. I know it does use both large and small gaskets.

174/177 supercharged small block, where to start?

You have to think, boost is just a restriction in the air, from intake to exhaust.

174/177 supercharged small block, where to start?

I have a Dick Landy 174 set up sitting on the shelf, I think I am going to put it on a 340 I have and stuff it in my 46 Dodge truck. Couple it to a RR 4-speed and a 8.75. It should make a fun truck.

    Street Engine Compression Ratio??

X2 as low as you can, this one I put together has 7.5 compression, I went out of my way to keep is low, did everything I could to dump the compression.

    Header and exhaust wrap question

Also, when you wrap it, wear gloves, most of the wrap is fiberglass based.

    400 BB with turbo

I completely understand the lack of space in the engine compartment, I almost bought a 47 dodge truck with a 273 and there is not alot of room, bb engine it has to be tight. I guess the main thing is the location of where the turbo is going to set. The turbo must have adequate oil drain back or...

SB T3/T4 twin turbo eBay header price drop. Fyi deal alert $234

SB T3/T4 twin turbo eBay header price drop. Fyi deal alert $234

I think these may actually fit on a A body. I was just mocking my engine up, had to grind a corner on one so the spark plug can be removed. They actually raise up, I think they will clear the shock tower. The alternator you will have to get creative, I think I can cut and add some 1" stock...
