Personally I've been trying to convert all my plastic interior parts to the older metal ones.

I do wire wheel then rust reformer even on the surface rust then a couple coats of self etching or regular primer then top it with leak seal spray or a couple coats of paint.

I used two rubber gaskets from the hardware store to keep them centered and that works great then I tried a thick layer of silicon gasket maker. It slowed the leak BUT it definitely still drips on the passenger wiper side.

Don't mean to thread jack but what size of screws do you use with the wheel puller to pull the wheel??

my tires are 195,75r14s all around so i dont know that it matters with that.

its 5mph off after 5. and its 5 off at every mph. i know the gas and temp are bad cause of a circuit board break but i dont completely know if that is affecting the small hiccup

What would cause my speedometer to go 5 higher than its supposed to be?

It should be the same as yours.

Just a circle know and on the back of the dash it doesn't have a screw or a button to take to off. Its just a solid plug with a few teeth holding the metal on the plug for protection. Ill post pics in a bit if I don't find out how to do it.

Under the plastic of the knob?

Basically what it looks like is a cog/gear looking piece under the wiper switch that looks like the one that unscrews on the light knob after knobs been pulled off. It looks like someone attempted to unscrew it before but failed horribly and scraped it up pretty bad.

Ive seen how to and know how to get the light know off but cant figure out how to get the wiper knob off. Can someone help? Ive searched the site and tootle and found nothing specific.

i think 73 would fit my 76 but not totally sure. id be willing to switch to them just for the metal upper panel.

is it possible to get my 2dr darts upper door panel piece in metal or was that only for the 4 door models?
