just ordered my frt disc brakes

I was under the impression that the calipers I needed were the 86-92 4wd S-10 calipers. Maybe I should call him and find out. I'm assuming that they would be the same as the 9" setup but maybe it's a better setup. And yes, buy the loaded calipers. Cheaper in the long run and you get all...

You should have 10" drums on that car. V8 cars normally have the larger drums. This upgrade can still be done, it's just easier and the brackets are cheaper by $10. As far as the re-drilling the rotors goes, you will recieve a template so that you get it right. I would reccomend that you...

just ordered my frt disc brakes

Scarebird Mechanical Disc Brake HELP NEEDED

My opion is that you need to have a machine shop do this. They have centering jigs that will do the job perfectly and the extra $20-$30 is well worth it. If you get the template off center, you'll have a nasty vibe from the front end. Just my $.02.

    Drum to disc swap

I've talked with Mark too and he seems to be a stand up guy. You should know that his setup is for 9" drums/spindles. I've sent him a set of 10" drums and spindles in small bolt pattern to develop a kit with. From his other work I doubt that it will take him long to get it done. I agree...
