pull the inspection plate off and fire it up. my ram mad that noise after I dropped the oil pan to change the oil pump, ot it all back together and it made that same horrendous noise, pulled the inspection plate off and you could see where it was rubbing, fired it up and no more noise

does it have the holly 1bbl carb?

No I just picked up that slant today and it doesn't have a water pump pulley and I know I have a bunch of V8s ones back home

Are the water pump pullys the same between V8s and slants?

Well shot Everything I've been reading I was under the impression they were getting the head milled n not the block Hopefully the six I'm getting ain't in too bad of shape n I can save it

My problem is the track width of the Dakota frame is irs to wide to fit the wheels under the fenders that I'm using, How much? Not sure yet as I have to bolt the nose and fenders together and do some real measuring and I'm stickimg with the ifs of the Dakota frame as its a PITA to put...

I've seen pics of the cliffords installed in cars, and IMO they stick out too far for what im trying to do. looks like ill have to fab up my own set

been looking for header for a slant, and from what i can tell no one makes shorty headers for the slants. my question is, how close are the jeep 4.0 headers to a slant? i know the mounting flange is WAY different, but does anyone know how close the ports are between the two? thinking maybe...
