    I like Carters/Edelbrocks for my neighbors car. Set em and forget em. For my cars its nothing but Holley double pumpers. I very much dislike vacuum secondary carbs for any hot rod.

    Much ado about nothing. This is a good example of why I don't post much. The inflection is lost on the internet. I never met Steve, but I talked to Lisa at the track. She was cool. The Dart runs 10.0's to keep things simple.

    I'm sure they are lighter than some old six pack rods, but do they weigh less than a nice modern set of steel Manleys or Carillos ect? By how much. Look at the price sheet. Where is the reason to experiment?

    I wound out a 318 with 3.23's and 235/70/14's on a long stretch of 101 going north out of town. It kicked out 3 rods at about 5500.
