thats not true the mopar manual says leave atleast a half inch gap between bumpstop and control arm and tightening or loosening the torsion bars DOES NOT affect its spring rate
73 duster installing 400 with 727 with elephant ears. gm 10 bolt rear narrowed with offset pumpkin,roughly 3 inches. how do i phase the motor to rearend. install motor and trans dead center? please throw info out there
i got them also. they had 2 different spring rates when i get them from MP (the cheapest.) they had left and right for the circle track guys. i got the stiffer and should drop the car roughly 2 inches plus the relocation magic :)
a slick thing to do is use the rear brachet that bolts to the frame, cut the frame notched to the dimensions of the bracket slide the bracket in and weld away. keeps the frame strong and lowers it for my application
