never tried the copper stuff. i just put it out of my mind anymore.

I quit using weld thru primer for the same reason. It generates a lot of slag. I tried turning up the power but all it did was blow holes in the metal. I am not a fan.

thats good to hear cosgig. the hood i bought from them is a really solid piece. in my opinion well worth the price.

Id clean it all off. Give it a good seam sealer job, lead job, or filler job and make it look nice and clean.

I bought the hood for my 68 cuda from them. I even got them to install a super stock scoop on it for me. I didnt have any trouble with them. Heres a pic... Its real nice. If you want to run hinges get hinges from a dodge rampage. I've been told they fir right and are the right tension.
