Red Headed Stepchild-75 Swinger LSX Swap

I feel ya brother. I rely on my buddy Larry to do any welding on my car. His truck lives in my garage all winter so he's generally around. I am super impressed with your work so far, keep it up looking forward to seeing this when it's completed.

1970 Swinger Build Thread (PURISTS BEWARE)

By the way, the LS swap is not my cup of tea but I can certainly appreciate the work and the good old fashioned hot rodding know how that is going into this build, VERY nice work! I will be watching to see how this turns out.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

Wow everything looks great. I ordered the D453s but I see that they have a polished set for about 150.00 more. If mine looks like yours I won't need polished.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

Hey, where did you get your headers from? Mine have been on order from Summit for 2 weeks and they are now saying they will be at Summit on 5/5/18. Very frustrating, if I can order from someone else and get them in a couple of days I will. Thanks for your help.

Yeah sometimes a picture just can't do it justice but I just can't see how it could look any better. Great job and your painter should be congratulated.

Red Headed Stepchild-75 Swinger LSX Swap

Enjoying the thread. I am still waiting on my machine shop to finish the short block for my 416 stroker. I definitely understand the LSX swap as I will have an easy $10,000 into my engine before it's over. Rock on, it's looking Bad ***!

Another 69 Dart 340 swinger build

Nice Dart, Mine was originally the T5 bronze with a white stripe, white vinyl top and white interior as well. I was 24 years old at the time and hated the color and that's why it's 1970 Top Banana yellow now. 36 years later I love the original combo but I'm not changing it.

I agree as well. The barbed fittings you are seeing are for the vent which I DON'T recommend connecting. Even though I mounted the vent as high as I could it still leaked like the Exxon Veldese when I completely filled the tank. The factory vent and vented cap are working fine.

Go with the new tank from Tanks Inc. They are a silver powder coated work of art and because the pump is in the tank it will last longer and run quieter. Fitech also seems to be having trouble with their fuel coomand center. I have one in my Dart

    67 Dart 270...Project Old School

I know that on '68 Darts the parking lights go off by design when you turn on the headlights. This feature was built into the headlight switch. '69 parking lights stay on with the headlights. I'm not sure about '67 but it you have a '68 headlight switch it would turn off the parking lights when...

    74 Dart w/ 340 6 pack

My love of this color actually goes back to a Hot Rod magazine article I read in 1978 where they featured Bob George's Hemi Dart. It was painted Top Banana yellow and I loved it. I got my car in 1981 and I knew in 1985 that there was only one color for my car. I repainted it in 2000 the same...

    74 Dart w/ 340 6 pack

LOL I thought it was just my car. Every bee in the area flocks to it like it was the mother ship. Hey good choice in hood scoops as well. I onece had a '74 Dart Sport so I have a soft spot for the beaked front end. Very Nice Car! The new Challenger is on my wish list as well.
