take the throttle plate to a machine shop they can cut a valve guide down for a bushing and ream the shaft to size

did you do a jet change ? they will come off if not careful

try running it out of a 5 gallon bucket ,that fuel tank will need to be pulled and cleaned and replaced check the pick up tube for blockage also look under the turbo on block for cracking a white crack leaking coolant I have seen many cracked after well used

does it have a leather accelerator pump seal might need to soak it

check for end play in shaft the rotor could be moving up and down

take a spray bottle full of water and spray everything down coil ,cap. wires ect. but first set the idle speed at 2500 rpm if there is a problem in will show I chased down a problem like this and it was the coil cracked between the coil tower and neg post.

did you change out the tbi gasket , unless you have the metal coated one this could be the problem ,it might be sucked in . also try using the middle grade fuel to see if the knock sensor is retarding timing . I have been fighting fuel millage problem with my 4.3 and just fix it by accident...
