Is that the door stop will it open too far without it?

I think getting the right fuel cap is the hardest thing to find , a lot of them work but do not have correct diameter or depth.

I picked up a stant cap also to paint and its not right ,I did see them on line for 50$ from a part reproducer but I was afraid I get the wrong one again.at that cost. my duster is a 73.

when you see one of those large motor homes go by remember foam is about the only thing holding them together ,I would say use it. just my 2 cents.

they still have them at many local dealers

I use enamel paint and when about dry, spray lacquer clear on top it will give you a great finish.
